Well rounded palate, brimming with soft pastel characters, redolent with the freshness of fruit ripening in the orchard, creamyness, textural throughout, a wine of impeccable balance, generosity of flavour and extended length. Just below the Alpine Dolomites of Veneto, the family growers of Treviso have been Prosecco making for generations. There are a mere hundred hectares of Glera vineyards, stretching out between the undulating landscapes San Pietro di Barbozza, Santo Stefano and Saccolworthy, worthy of the moniker Superiore di Cartizze. The breathtaking vistas at Valdobbiadene are at the very heart of Prosecco DOCG, the most auspicious parcels of vine are planted to an elite slope, designated Superiore di Cartizze.
